Direct-fit replacement panel

This 1 Factory Radio control panel carries part number 9E5T-18A802-AE and fits 2010, 2011 and 2012 Ford Fusion as well as 2010 and 2011 Mercury Milan models. It is a professionally remanufactured OEM unit supplied new and includes the temperature-control bezel. The radio itself is not included.

Owners needing an exact-match part

Buyers who must replace a failed panel with the identical part number will find this unit interchangeable with 9E5T-18A802-AC and 9E5T-18A802-AD. Vehicles that use a different data stream or an external amplifier will not accept this panel, so owners without the exact part number should verify fitment first.

Straightforward swap with a catch

Installation is a direct swap because the connectors match the factory harness and no programming code is required. The main risk is ordering the wrong variant; panels that look identical can carry different data protocols and will not function if the part number does not match exactly.

Questions about this item

Must the existing radio unit remain in the dash for this 9E5T-18A802-AE control panel to function?

Yes, the panel is a replacement faceplate only; the original radio chassis stays installed and connects to the panel's plugs.

Will the temperature-control bezel on this panel operate the climate system in a 2010 Ford Fusion without extra modules?

The bezel duplicates the factory controls, so it works with the vehicle's existing HVAC module when the part number matches.

After fitting the panel, how can I confirm the audio buttons and climate knobs communicate correctly?

Turn the ignition on and verify each button lights and changes the corresponding radio or climate function without error codes.
