Factory Radio Cassette Player NC15799D0

This new cassette player is a professionally remanufactured OEM unit built for 1999-2000 Mazda MX-5 Miata models. It carries part number NC15799D0 and face number 4D01. The unit has been cleaned, serviced and tested to confirm perfect function. It is sold as a direct replacement for the factory cassette deck.

Owners replacing a failed NC15799D0 deck

This part suits owners whose original cassette player has stopped working and who have verified the exact part number. It does not suit vehicles that require a different part number or model such as MCA001J1. Buyers wanting Bluetooth, AUX input or a combined radio unit should look elsewhere because this device provides cassette playback only.

Matching the part number NC15799D0

The single specification that decides fitment is the part number printed on the existing unit. If your current player shows NC15799D0 or the compatible number NC15799D0US this replacement will work. If the number differs the cassette player will likely not function in your vehicle.

Questions about this item

Will the NC15799D0 cassette player connect to the original wiring harness in my 1999 Mazda MX-5 Miata?

Yes, the unit is built to the OEM specification for 1999-2000 MX-5 Miata models and plugs directly into the factory harness when the part number matches.

How can I verify the Dolby Logic cassette deck is functioning correctly after installation?

Insert a known-good cassette and confirm the Dolby Logic indicator lights, tape transport runs smoothly, and audio plays through all speakers without distortion.

Does the NC15799D0 package include the radio tuner unit or only the cassette mechanism?

The listing states "Radio Not Included"; this item is the cassette player mechanism only, so the separate radio tuner must be sourced if yours is missing or faulty.
