Direct-fit replacement for 2008-2010 Cadillac CTS

This unit is a professionally remanufactured OEM radio carrying part number 20773369 and interchange number 638-02423. It delivers AM/FM reception and six-disc CD playback for vehicles originally equipped with option codes U2K or U2R.

No bundled accessories

The radio ships without a face plate or controls, so the original trim pieces must be reused. A dealer unlock is mandatory after fitment; the process takes roughly five minutes but must be arranged before the unit will operate.

Verify the exact part number

Confirm the existing radio carries part number 25904920 or one of the compatible numbers 15229209, 20773369 or 25879793 using the vehicle VIN. Cars fitted with an external amplifier use a different data stream and will not accept this replacement.

Questions about this item

Will the six-disc CD mechanism need lubrication or belt replacement after long-term storage?

The unit is professionally remanufactured and serviced as needed, so the CD mechanism is restored to 100 % working order before shipment.

What is the first limitation that appears during continuous daily use?

Dealer unlocking is required upon installation; without that step the radio will not operate at all.

How much heat or fan noise does the radio produce when running all day?

No cooling fan is present and the solid-state tuner generates minimal heat, so operation is silent and barely warm.
