Factory Radio DP5T-18C830-AB Remote CD Player

This professionally remanufactured OEM unit replaces the original remote single disc CD player in 2013 and 2014 Lincoln MKZ vehicles. It carries part number DP5T-18C830-AB and interchange number 638-07523. The component is sold as a direct replacement only. Dealer programming may be required after installation.

Single Disc Capacity and Vehicle Fit

The player handles one standard audio CD at a time and integrates with the factory head unit through the vehicle's data bus. It will not operate if the car uses an external amplifier configuration that changes the data stream. Buyers who need multi-disc changers or digital media playback from USB or Bluetooth sources cannot use this unit.

OEM Data Bus Compatibility Limits

Function depends on an exact match to part number DP5T-18C830-AB or its listed compatible variants DP5T18C830AA, AC and AD. Vehicles with different option codes or external amplifier architectures will reject the module even though the connector appears identical. Verification against the VIN is essential before purchase.
