This 10Gtek PCIe 2.0 x8 network card uses a Broadcom BCM57810S controller to deliver dual 10Gbps SFP+ ports. It targets servers and workstations that need reliable 10 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity for data centre or high-performance computing tasks. The card fits both x8 and x16 slots and supports Windows Server 2008, 2008R2, HPC Server 2008, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.7 and 6.1, SLES 10 and 11, and VMware 4.1u2 and 5.0u1.

Low-Profile Brackets and SFP+ Flexibility

A full-height bracket and an additional low-profile bracket are included, allowing installation in standard or small-form-factor chassis. The two SFP+ cages accept 10Gb SFP+ transceivers, direct-attach cables or active optical cables, so you can choose copper or fibre links per port. The card does not support hot-swapping, so plan link changes during maintenance windows.
