Two 0.7 m SFF-8087 cables carry 6.0 Gbps SAS or SATA traffic inside servers and storage arrays
Length 2.46 ft.
Two 10Gtek Mini SAS SFF-8087 cables connect internal storage controllers to backplanes or direct-attached enclosures. Each assembly uses a 36-position connector with sideband signals and is rated for up to 6.0 Gbps data rates. The 0.7-metre length suits compact server chassis and RAID systems.
The AWG 30 cable maintains 100 Ohms impedance for signal integrity at 6 Gbps while reducing bulk inside the chassis. Operating temperature spans -20 to 80 °C and the assembly is RoHS compliant. Thin profile eases routing without blocking airflow to adjacent components.
Connectors plug into standard SFF-8087 ports on host bus adapters, RAID cards or motherboard headers without adapters. The pair frees a second port for additional arrays or redundant paths. No external power or active circuitry is required for operation.

Other versions of this model
Keep the bend radius gentle — AWG 30 conductors and 100-ohm impedance tolerate moderate curves, but sharp kinks near the 36-pin connector can degrade the 6.0 Gbps signal.
Swap it once reseating both SFF-8087 ends and verifying the HBA port does not clear the errors; the thin low-skew construction can fatigue after repeated thermal cycles between -20 and 80 °C.
The specification lists custom lengths up to one metre; beyond that the 100-ohm impedance and skew budget typically cannot sustain the rated data rate.
