Natural cellulose sponge set

This 16-count pack of plant-based wood-pulp sponges is designed for everyday indoor cleaning tasks. Each piece is biodegradable and compostable, offering a natural alternative to synthetic scrubbers. The material creates abundant foam with minimal soap and resists falling apart when wet. It suits households that prefer eco-friendly janitorial supplies.

Buyers seeking plastic-free daily cleaning

The sponges are non-scratch on surfaces such as stainless steel, glass, ceramic and non-stick cookware, making them safe for delicate items. Their open fibre structure dries quickly, limiting bacterial growth and odour buildup. They are not intended for heavy-duty scouring of baked-on grime or outdoor maintenance where abrasive pads are required.

16-count compressed dry pack

The set contains sixteen individual sponges measuring 4.7 in x 2.76 in x .8 in, supplied in a single pack sized 8.3 cm x 18.1 cm x 25.7 cm. Each sponge arrives compressed and odour-free, expanding when wet for immediate use. This quantity and format determine whether the supply matches the intended cleaning frequency.

Questions about this item

How do I prepare the 16-count sponge set for first use?

Remove a compressed sponge from the pack, wet it with water and watch it expand to its 4.7 in x 2.76 in x .8 in size before applying soap.

When will the plant-based cellulose sponges need replacement?

Replace a sponge when the wooden pulp fibers start to break apart or the scrubbing surface no longer creates foam with a little soap.

What limits how long a sponge stays odor-free under daily use?

The 100% plant-based wood pulp resists smells, but trapped food particles in the fiber holes can eventually cause odor if not rinsed clean.
