Soviet penal battalion game

Men of War: Condemned Heroes is a downloadable PC game published by 1C Online Games and developed by 1C-SoftClub. It places players in command of a Soviet penal company formed under Stalin’s Order 227 during the Second World War. The title requires a Steam account for activation and is blocked in several listed countries.

Campaign structure and gameplay

The single-player experience spans four campaigns covering operations from 1942 through to the end of the war, including Operation Bagration and battles near Warsaw. Missions focus on leading outnumbered units through historically inspired Eastern Front scenarios. The design emphasises tactical command over short bursts rather than extended resource management or base building.

System requirements and platform limits

Minimum specifications call for Windows XP, Vista or 7 with a P4 2.6GHz or Athlon 3000+ processor, 1 GB RAM and a GeForce FX 8800 or Radeon HD3850 with 256Mb video memory. The Steam DRM ties the licence to the account, preventing resale or transfer. Buyers without a compatible legacy operating system or discrete graphics card cannot run the title.

Questions about this item

How much heat and power will this downloadable game generate during long play sessions?

As a digital Steam code, the product itself produces no heat and draws no power; only your PC components will, depending on how hard they work to meet the 2.6 GHz CPU and 256 MB GPU minimums.

What must I already own to activate and play Men of War: Condemned Heroes?

You need a Windows PC, a Steam account, and an internet connection to redeem the 46014 code and download the game files.

Will the game run on my older GeForce FX 8800 or Radeon HD3850 graphics card?

Yes — those exact cards with 256 MB VRAM meet the published minimum specification, so the game should launch on that vintage hardware.
