Game content and target audience

Men of War Assault Squad GOTY Edition bundles the base game with five DLC packs including three multiplayer supply packs and two skirmish expansions. The World War II real-time strategy title covers five playable nations and introduces cooperative skirmish modes. Strategy fans who want the complete package in a single Steam activation will find everything included.

Upgrade path from standard edition

Owners of the original Men of War Assault Squad release gain all previously separate downloadable content without further purchases. The jump is worthwhile for players who missed the individual packs or prefer a single library entry. Buyers who only want the core campaign without extra multiplayer maps or skirmish scenarios do not need this edition.

Sustained play experience

The game runs on modest hardware with a Shader Model 3.0 graphics card and 128MB video memory. Minimum memory requirements differ between Windows XP at 1GB and Vista or Windows 7 at 2GB. Storage consumption reaches 6.5GB plus a swap file. A Steam account is mandatory for activation and ongoing play.
