What this product is

The 2-Power DZ65200325 is a 65W USB-C AC adapter built to power compatible Dell laptops. It accepts 100-240V input and delivers multiple output profiles up to 20V/3.25A, making it suitable for XPS, Latitude and select Vostro models that charge over USB-C.

Who this suits and who it does not

This charger fits owners of listed Dell Latitude 5000, 7000 and 9000 series, XPS 13, XPS 12 and XPS 15 models, plus compatible Chromebooks and Vostro 5000 series. Buyers whose laptops need a barrel connector or a higher USB-C power profile should look at a different adapter.

The specification that decides fit

The adapter provides a 20V/3.25A USB-C output (65W maximum) and is tested against IEC requirements. Match your device’s required voltage and current to this profile before purchasing.

Questions about this item

Does the 65 W USB-C adapter run hot or make noise when powering a Dell Latitude 5420 all day?

The 2-Power DZ65200325 is a compact 65 W USB-C brick with no fan, so it operates silently; under continuous load it warms to a typical external temperature for a 20 V 3.25 A supply.

What cable or plug must I already have to use this charger with a Dell XPS 13 9310?

The unit includes a fixed USB-C output cable and a detachable IEC C7 mains lead for EU two-pin sockets, so no extra cable is required.

Will this 65 W adapter safely charge an older Dell Latitude 5280 that originally shipped with a 45 W barrel charger?

Yes — the adapter negotiates 5 V, 9 V, 12 V, 15 V or 20 V up to 3.25 A via USB Power Delivery, so it will deliver the 45 W the Latitude 5280 expects without over-volting.
