65W USB-C Power Delivery Charger

This 65W USB-C charger delivers up to 65W of power using USB Power Delivery with automatic voltage adjustment across 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V and 20V outputs. It is designed as a replacement AC adapter for Lenovo ThinkPad, Yoga and Chromebook laptops that charge via USB-C. The unit accepts a 100-240V input for worldwide use and includes a US plug and detachable USB-C to USB-C cable. It suits professionals and students needing a reliable spare or travel charger for compatible Lenovo devices.

65W Output With 20V 3.25A Peak

The charger provides a maximum output of 20V at 3.25A for 65W total power, with intermediate steps at 15V 3A (45W), 12V 3A (36W), 9V 3A (27W) and 5V 3A (15W). It comfortably handles 65W and 45W USB-C laptops including ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 5 through 9, X1 Yoga Gen 2 through 6, T480 through T590, E480 through E595, L380 through L590 and P14s or P15s models. It will not satisfy laptops requiring more than 65W or those using proprietary barrel connectors instead of USB-C charging.

US Plug And USB-C Cable Included

The package supplies a 65W USB-C power adapter with a fixed US Type A plug and a separate USB-C to USB-C cable, so it works straight from a North American wall outlet without an extra cord. Built-in protection covers over-voltage, over-current, short-circuit and over-temperature conditions for safe daily charging. Buyers needing a UK, EU or other regional plug, or a longer cable than the one provided, must source those separately.

Questions about this item

Will the 65W USB-C charger safely power my older ThinkPad T480 that originally used a 45W adapter?

Yes, the charger auto-adjusts output down to 15W, 27W, 45W or 60W, so it will safely deliver the 45W your T480 expects while providing up to 65W for newer models.

How can I confirm the adapter is delivering the correct voltage after I plug it in?

The USB-C port negotiates 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V or 20V automatically; your laptop’s battery icon will show charging and the OS power meter will report the active voltage and wattage.

Does the box include both the USB-C wall adapter and the AC power cord, or must I buy the cord separately?

The package includes one 65W USB-C charger and one US Type A power cord, so no separate cord purchase is required.
