65W USB-C charger for HP EliteBook and ProBook

The 2-Power SM65CL-01 delivers up to 65W through a USB-C connector and supports automatic selection of 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V or 20V output levels. It replaces original HP part numbers such as 860209-850, 934739-850 and PA-1450-33HD for EliteBook 830, 835, 840, 845, 860, 865, 640, 650, 655 and 1040 models across G8 to G11 generations and ProBook 440, 445, 450, 455, 460, 465 G8 to G11 devices.

USB-C Power Delivery limits and cable requirements

The adapter accepts 100 to 240V AC input at 1.5A and provides a maximum of 65W output, so it cannot power devices that demand more than 65W or require a proprietary barrel connector. The USB-C cable must support the negotiated voltage and current; a cable rated only for lower power will restrict charging speed or prevent operation entirely.

Check your device port

Verify that your laptop or tablet charges through a USB-C port and that its original adapter is rated at 65W or less. Units that need a higher-wattage supply, a barrel-style jack or a non-Power Delivery protocol will not work with this charger. The package includes the adapter, a USB-C power cord and documentation.
