Packaging tape for sealing cartons

This clear packaging tape measures 2 inches wide by 22.2 yards long on a 2-inch core. It is designed for general box sealing and shipping tasks in office, warehouse or home environments. The roll unwinds smoothly for quick application.

Light-duty sealing only

The tape suits users who need a reliable seal for standard cardboard boxes and light parcels. It is not intended for heavy industrial strapping, extreme temperature storage or specialised packaging that demands reinforced filament or water-activated adhesives.

Smooth easy-unwind feature

The product’s defining characteristic is its smooth, easy-unwind behaviour, which reduces tearing and frustration during repetitive sealing jobs. If controlled unwind is not a priority, other tape constructions may be considered.

Questions about this item

Does this Scotch 145 tape fit a standard 2-inch core dispenser?

Yes, the roll is wound on a 2-inch core that matches most desktop and handheld dispensers.

Can I use this 22.2-yard roll with a heavier box sealer designed for wider tape?

The tape is 2 inches wide, so it will not feed through sealers built for 3-inch rolls.

How can I confirm the 145 unwinds smoothly after loading it?

Pull the first few feet; the film should release evenly without tearing or curling.
