0.70" x 60 yds Blue Masking Tape

This ScotchBlue Original Painter's Tape measures 0.70 inches wide by 60 yards long. It is a medium-adhesion masking tape designed for clean removal from painted walls, trim, woodwork, glass and metal. The tape offers 24 lbs tensile strength per inch of width with 6% elongation at break. It features easy tear and controlled unwind for straightforward handling.

Multi-surface painting and masking tasks

The tape suits decorators and DIYers needing clean lines on multiple surface types with up to seven days of UV exposure before removal. It withstands temperatures up to 200deg F for 30 minutes during paint curing. Buyers needing wider coverage per strip or tapes rated for longer outdoor exposure should consider other options. This roll is sold as a single unit.

5 mil thickness with 24 lbs tensile strength

The 5 mil thickness combined with 24 lbs tensile strength per inch determines whether the tape holds sharp edges without tearing during application. Controlled unwind and easy tear support precise placement on trim and detail work. These specifications define the tape's suitability for standard interior and light exterior masking jobs.

Questions about this item

Will the .70" width line up cleanly with standard trim and window frames I already have?

The roll is .70" wide, a common narrow width for trim and window muntins, so it aligns with typical woodwork profiles without trimming.

How can I confirm the tape is releasing properly after seven days in sunlight?

After up to seven days of UV exposure the tape should peel off in one piece with no blue residue left on painted walls, glass or metal.

Does the single roll contain the full 60 yards, or do I need to buy a multi-pack to get that length?

One roll supplies the full 60 yards; the product is sold as 1 Each, so no extra packs are required.
