Yellow Varnished Cambric Tape

This pack contains twenty rolls of 3M Scotch 2520 insulating tape for electrical maintenance and repair. Each roll provides a continuous length of woven cotton cambric fabric coated with a rubber adhesive. The varnished cloth construction resists abrasion and mechanical damage during installation and service.

For Electrical Insulating Jobs

Electricians and maintenance engineers use this tape for wrapping splices, harnesses and coil windings where a tough cloth backing is required. It is not intended for applications that demand a certified voltage rating or a defined minimum operating temperature. Buyers needing those documented limits should select a differently specified product.

220 °F Maximum Temperature Rating

The tape is rated for continuous operation up to 220 degrees Fahrenheit, which determines suitability for high-heat environments such as motor leads or transformer connections. This single thermal limit is the decisive figure when choosing this material over other insulating options.
