What this tape does

Scotch GiftWrap tape provides a clear, satin-finish seal that disappears on most wrapping papers. The strong hold keeps packages neatly wrapped for holidays, birthdays and everyday celebrations. It is also photo-safe, so you can attach a card or picture without damaging the print. Each pack includes three rolls with dispensers.

Behaviour during extended use

The adhesive maintains its grip across multiple seams and folded ends without losing tack. The tape continues to glide off the roll smoothly and cuts cleanly with the built-in dispenser even after repeated pulls. Made in the USA with globally sourced materials, it delivers consistent performance throughout a full wrapping session.

Installation and common issues

Pull the desired length from the dispenser and press firmly over the seam to secure the paper. The included dispenser handles cutting so no separate tool is needed. If the tape is not pressed down fully, the hold can weaken on heavier paper; ensure firm contact along the entire strip.
