Product identity

Scotch 3450-8 packaging tape is a clear acrylic adhesive on a three-inch core. The eight-roll pack suits offices, warehouses and home shippers who need a reliable seal for cartons and parcels.

Dispenser benefit

Each roll includes a built-in dispenser that keeps the tape from falling back onto itself after cutting. The mechanism delivers a smooth, easy unwind so users can apply long strips without snags or wasted length.

Capacity and limits

One roll provides 54.6 yards of 1.88-inch wide tape, giving ample length for high-volume sealing tasks. The acrylic adhesive bonds well to standard corrugated boxes but is not designed for extreme cold, heavy-duty strapping or specialised industrial substrates.

Questions about this item

How often will I need to replace a roll of this 3450-8 tape?

Each roll provides 54.6 yards of clear acrylic tape; replacement frequency depends entirely on how much you use for sealing boxes or packages.

What is the first limit I hit when sealing many cartons in one session?

The 1.88-inch width and 3-inch core determine how much tape dispenses per pull; the practical limit is the roll length of 54.6 yards before a new roll is needed.

Does the adhesive get overly sticky or leave residue after the dispenser runs all day?

The acrylic formulation is designed for smooth, easy unwind and strong adhesion without excessive buildup on the dispenser or carton surfaces during extended use.
