Questions about this item

Does the 1/32 in foam thickness require a specific surface texture on my ABS or polycarbonate parts for the 4032 tape to bond?

The 4032 series bonds ABS, polycarbonate, acrylic, concrete, glass, metal, nylon, stone and wood without any special surface preparation beyond cleaning.

Will the 220 Degrees F maximum performance temperature hold if I keep the assembly near an older halogen lamp that runs hot?

Yes, the tape is rated to 220 °F, which covers typical halogen-lamp ambient heat; avoid direct contact with the bulb itself.

How can I confirm the 4032 tape is adhering properly after I press it onto metal and glass?

After firm pressure, the bond should feel solid with no edge lift; a gentle peel test at a corner will show full foam contact across both surfaces.
