This black urethane foam tape carries a 3M acrylic adhesive on both sides. It comes in a continuous roll measuring twelve inches wide by five yards long with a thickness of one thirty-second inch. The product is aimed at assembly, manufacturing, construction and general maintenance tasks where a conformable bond is required. It is not intended for buyers who need a thinner film tape or a removable adhesive.

Temperature limits and surface compatibility

The tape performs continuously up to two hundred twenty degrees Fahrenheit; no minimum service temperature is rated. The acrylic adhesive bonds to ABS, acrylic, concrete, glass, metal, nylon, polycarbonate, stone and wood. A liner is included for handling and die-cutting. The tape will not suit applications that exceed the stated maximum temperature or require adhesion to unlisted substrates such as polyethylene or silicone.
