3M 483 Film Tape Yellow Polyethylene 2In x 36Yd

3M 483 Yellow Polyethylene Film Tape

This 3M 483 film tape uses a polyethylene backing with a rubber adhesive on one side. The roll measures 2 in wide by 36 yd long with a 5.3 mil thickness. It suits packaging, sealing and general-purpose tasks where a conformable, moisture-resistant tape is required.

Check surface and temperature range

The rubber adhesive performs from -20 Degrees F to 170 Degrees F. Verify that the application surface is clean, dry and free of oils before use. Confirm the 3 in core diameter fits your dispenser and that the 10 lb-in tensile strength meets the load requirement.

Integrates with standard dispensers and processes

The continuous roll feeds through common 3 in core dispensers for hand or machine application. Its 300 Percent elongation allows stretching around irregular shapes without snapping. The 12 oz/in adhesive strength bonds to corrugated, plastic and metal, freeing you from supplementary fasteners or strapping.
