3M 4910 Double-Sided Foam Tape

This 3M 4910 tape is a double-sided polyethylene foam product supplied in a continuous roll. It measures six inches wide by five yards long with a thickness of one-sixteenth of an inch. The clear adhesive suits assembly, manufacturing and general maintenance tasks across automotive, aviation, construction and electronics sectors.

Suitable uses and limitations

The tape bonds to ABS, acrylic, glass, metal, nylon and polycarbonate surfaces for indoor or outdoor use. It performs continuously between minus thirty-one degrees Fahrenheit and one hundred ninety-four degrees Fahrenheit. Buyers needing a narrower width, a different adhesive chemistry or a linerless format should consider other options.

1/16 in foam thickness

The foam carrier is one-sixteenth of an inch thick, providing gap-filling and conformability for irregular surfaces. This dimension determines the bond line height and the level of vibration damping the tape can deliver. Verify that this thickness matches the design requirements of your specific application.
