Precise adhesive dots for paper projects
The 3M 6055BNS adhesive dot roller applies double-sided dots in a controlled line, making it suited for charts, presentations, photo mounting and general office or school tasks where liquid glue would spread or wrinkle paper. The clear adhesive is acid-free and safe for colour photographs. Each roller covers straight or curved paths cleanly.
.30 inch by 49 foot roll length
Every roller in the four-pack carries a continuous liner of adhesive dots measuring .30 inches wide by 49 feet long, and the specification of that single roll determines whether the total footage meets the project scope. The hinged cover shields the unused portion between sessions. Refill cartridges slot in without threading.
Repositionable during initial placement
The adhesive dots bond permanently after pressure, but they can be lifted and repositioned briefly while first applied, allowing alignment corrections on charts or layouts without tearing delicate paper. Acid-free chemistry prevents yellowing or damage to photos over time. The mess-free dot pattern avoids the saturation and curl that liquid adhesives cause on thin stock. Not for users who need a wide tape format or heavy-duty bonding on non-porous surfaces.

Questions about this item
How much adhesive do I actually get from the 49 ft roll in one dispenser?
Each roller holds a 49 ft roll of 0.3 in wide double-sided dots, yielding a continuous strip of adhesive that covers long edges or many small pieces before a refill is needed.
Does the adhesive bond instantly or can I reposition items after placing them?
The dots are initially repositionable so you can adjust placement, then they form a permanent, acid-free bond that is safe for color photos.
What size refill cartridge fits the 6055BNS roller?
The dispenser uses a snap-in refill cartridge that requires no threading; it accepts the same 0.3 in x 49 ft roll size as the original supply.
