Product Identity

The 3M 7982 mailing tube is a rigid cylindrical envelope designed to protect documents, blueprints or artwork that can be rolled for transit or storage. Supplied in a carton of twelve, each tube measures forty-eight inches in length and meets U.S. Postal regulations for mailing.

Suitability

This tube suits offices, architects or artists who regularly ship or archive large-format rolled materials and value the security of removable end caps on both ends. Buyers who need flat mailers, padded envelopes or shorter tubes for smaller items should look at alternative packaging formats.

Deciding Specification

The forty-eight-inch length is the single specification that determines whether this tube fits the materials you intend to roll and ship. Confirm your longest document or drawing does not exceed this internal dimension before ordering the carton of twelve.
