Scotch 8959 Extreme Application packaging tape is built for heavyweight boxes and overseas or export shipments. Its polypropylene backing is reinforced with bi-directional continuous glass yarn across length and width. The construction delivers typical tensile strengths of 150lbs per inch longitudinal and 50lbs per inch cross direction. A specially formulated rubber resin adhesive bonds strongly to metal, plastic and fiberboard.
