Compact Cleaning Set for Desks and Counters

The 3M Brush and Dustpan Set 888 is a small hand broom and pan designed for quick clean-up on tables, countertops and desks. Its 13 in width covers a practical surface area for crumbs, dust and snack debris. The rubber-edged pan lip maintains contact with flat surfaces so particles are swept into the pan rather than pushed underneath. A comb on each side of the pan clears bristles during use.

Limits of a Hand-Held Sweep

The set is built for light, localised messes and cannot replace a full-size broom for floor areas. The short handle requires the user to bend or crouch for low surfaces, which may be uncomfortable over extended periods. The pan capacity suits small volumes such as cereal spills or desktop dust; larger debris or wet spills will exceed its practical limit. No extension handle or locking mechanism is provided.

Moulded Plastic Build with Integrated Storage

Both pieces are moulded from durable plastic with a white and blue finish. The broom handle nests inside the pan handle for compact storage, and a hanging hole allows wall mounting. The ergonomic rubber grip on the broom improves control during sweeping. The one-piece construction has no moving parts to loosen, and the materials resist cracking under normal indoor use.
