Double-Sided Cloth Tape 97056

This white double-sided cloth tape comes on a 36-yard roll with a 3-inch core. The tightly woven cotton-polyester fabric is coated on both sides with an aggressive rubber-based adhesive. It is designed for installers and fabricators who need strong bonding to rough or textured surfaces.

Hand-Tear Fabric With Liner

The cloth carrier tears cleanly by hand and conforms to uneven substrates such as brick, cinder block or carpet backing. A peel-away liner protects the adhesive until application, allowing manual or dispenser-based deployment. The thickness and flexibility help the tape seal irregular profiles without lifting at the edges.

Aggressive Rubber Adhesive Performance

The premium rubber adhesive delivers immediate grab and high shear strength on a wide variety of substrates. It maintains bond integrity in typical indoor installation temperatures and resists creep under sustained load. No solvent activation or heat is required, so the tape is ready for use straight from the roll.

Questions about this item

What adhesive standard does the 97056 tape meet for rough surfaces?

The tape uses an aggressive rubber-based pressure sensitive adhesive coated on both sides of a cotton-polyester fabric, giving very good adhesion to rough and textured substrates.

What core size does the 97056 roll fit on?

The roll is wound on a 3 inch diameter core, so it fits standard dispensers and holders that accept that core size.

How do you apply the 97056 tape without trapping air bubbles?

Remove the peel-away liner, press the exposed adhesive onto the first surface, then smooth the tape firmly across the second surface working from one end to the other to avoid trapped air.
