Heavy-Duty Scrub Sponge 3-Pack

This three-pack of Scotch-Brite HD-3 sponges is built for kitchens, garages and outdoor areas where baked-on messes appear. Each green and yellow sponge combines a scouring pad with a cellulose backing shaped to fit the hand.

Thermals noise and power

As a manual cleaning tool the sponge generates no heat, draws no electricity and produces no operating noise. It can be sanitised in a dishwasher and reused, so there are no ongoing consumable costs.

Replaces lighter scrubbers

The HD-3 removes tough, baked-on residue 50% faster than competitive heavy-duty scrub sponges, making it a step up from standard cellulose or light-duty pads. Buyers who need a gentler surface for non-stick coatings or delicate glass should choose a softer option.

Questions about this item

How do I sanitise the 4.5 x 2.7 x .6 inch sponge after heavy use?

Place it on the top rack of a dishwasher and run a normal cycle; the cellulose material withstands the heat and comes out ready for reuse.

When will the green abrasive side of the HD-3 need replacing?

Replace the sponge once the green scouring surface wears smooth or the yellow cellulose crumbles, typically after several weeks of daily tough cleanup tasks.

What limits continuous scrubbing with this heavy-duty sponge?

The .6 inch thick cellulose core compresses and holds less water during prolonged sessions, so rinsing and wringing it out every few minutes keeps performance steady.
