Heavy Wall Heat Shrink Tubing 3:1

This 3M heat shrink tubing provides heavy wall protection for electrical connections. It is suited for electricians and technicians who need reliable insulation and strain relief. The cross linked polyolefin construction includes an adhesive lining that seals against moisture and contaminants. It covers a wire range from 2 to 4/0 AWG.

25 foot roll with adhesive lining

The 25 foot length lets you cut custom pieces for each splice or termination. An inside diameter of 1.100 inches before shrinking fits over large connectors and cable bundles. After heating it shrinks to 0.037 inches with a 3 to 1 ratio. The 0.120 inch recovered wall thickness adds mechanical strength and environmental sealing.

Operating range to 230 degrees F

The tubing withstands continuous temperatures from minus 67 to 230 degrees Fahrenheit. A minimum shrink temperature of 250 degrees F activates the adhesive and completes the seal. It is rated for up to 1000 volts and meets UL and CSA standards. This product is not for users who need a higher voltage rating or a different shrink ratio.
