Connects 16-14 AWG wire to a 1/4 inch stud with a brazed copper ring rated for 600 V and 347 °F, supplied in a pack of 1000
These non-insulated ring terminals accept 16 to 14 AWG copper wire and mount on a 1/4 inch stud. The brazed seam construction ensures a secure mechanical bond during crimping. They are UL Listed and CSA Certified for electrical installations up to 600 V. Each pack contains 1000 pieces for high-volume wiring projects.
The bare copper terminals are rated for a maximum operating temperature of 347 degrees Fahrenheit. With no insulation sleeve present, heat dissipates directly into the surrounding air during normal current flow. The copper material provides low resistance to minimise voltage drop across the connection. No forced cooling or derating is required within the specified temperature limit.
The 1/4 inch stud hole and 16 to 14 AWG wire range are the critical dimensions that determine fit. The tongue width measures 0.47 inches and overall length is 0.89 inches for clearance planning. Buyers needing insulated barrels, a different stud size, or a wire gauge outside this range must select an alternative terminal.

Strip the wire to expose the conductor, insert it fully into the brazed-seam barrel, and use a ratchet crimp tool sized for 16-14 AWG to compress the copper barrel evenly; the most common error is under-crimping, which leaves a gap that increases resistance.
Yes, the bare copper will oxidise over time; inspect connections annually and re-crimp or replace any terminal showing green patina or increased resistance, especially if the 347 °F temperature rating is approached.
The 347 °F maximum temperature is the first limit reached; sustained current that heats the copper barrel above this point will degrade the crimp joint before the 600 V insulation rating is stressed.
