Universal Compression Connectors

The PPC EX6XLPLUS RG6 Snap & Seal connectors are designed for outdoor coaxial installations. They suit installers who need a single connector type across multiple cable braids. The compliant co-polymer body fits 60% through Quad Shield Series 6 and 59 cables. Dish Network, Comcast and Direct TV have approved these connectors for their networks.

Patented Moisture-Tight Design

The one-piece construction creates a moisture-tight seal without separate O-rings or gaskets. Physically contoured parts allow quick visual identification of the correct size on site. The universal design reduces the need to carry multiple connector SKUs for different cable jackets. Genuine PPC branded packaging ensures authenticity and specification compliance.

Tool-Dependent Installation

Installation requires a compatible compression tool to achieve the specified moisture-tight seal. Without the correct tool the connector will not compress evenly and the seal may fail. The bulk 1000-piece pack is intended for professional volume use rather than occasional repairs. Installers should verify cable dimensions before crimping to avoid mismatch.

Questions about this item

Will the co-polymer body on these EX6XLPLUS connectors degrade or need replacement after outdoor exposure?

The compliant co-polymer body is engineered for outdoor use with a moisture-tight patented design, so the connector itself does not require scheduled replacement under normal conditions.

What cable-size limit stops these universal connectors from sealing properly on larger-than-Quad braids?

The patented design achieves true universality across 60% through Quad Shield Series 6 and 59 cables; cables beyond Quad Shield fall outside the verified range.

Do the connectors generate heat or draw power when left on a permanent outdoor coax run?

These are passive compression connectors with no electrical consumption, so they produce no heat and draw no power once installed.
