Small cleaning plate for silver and metal items

The 3M Magic Cleaning Plate measures 11.5 by 15.4 centimetres and weighs 0.06 kilograms. It removes heavy tarnish from silver, bronze, copper and some brass without harsh chemicals. The plate is safe for use with precious stones and pearls, though warm water may affect jewellery glue. It suits anyone cleaning multiple delicate pieces at once.

Handles several pieces per session.

One plate cleans multiple items together in a single container with washing soda or activator crystals bought separately. It works on items left unattended for years and reaches intricate filigree areas. The plate rinses clean and can be reused for future cleaning tasks. It does not suit buyers who want an all-in-one product that includes the activating chemicals.

Reusable plate activated by washing soda or crystals

The plate requires a plastic container, warm water and a scoop of washing soda or activator crystals to start the cleaning reaction. Part number 10009 identifies this white liquid-form supply sold as a single set. Buyers who cannot source the activator locally should note it is not included.
