Natural Kitchen Sponge 10 Pack

This 10-count set provides plant-based cleaning tools for everyday kitchen tasks. Each piece combines a wood-pulp cellulose side with a coconut-fiber scrubber. The sponges arrive compressed and expand to 11.5 cm x 7 cm x 2 cm when wet. They suit households that prefer biodegradable materials over synthetic alternatives.

Odour Resistance and Absorbency

The honeycomb pore structure allows rapid drying between uses, which prevents odour buildup. The cellulose layer becomes soft on contact with water and holds liquid effectively for wiping surfaces. A small amount of detergent produces ample lather for cutting through grease on dishes and cookware.

Upgrade from Synthetic Scourers

The set replaces plastic mesh or foam pads that shed microfibres and retain smells. The switch is worthwhile for users who want a fully compostable option that still tackles baked-on residue on pans, stovetops and countertops. It does not suit buyers who need abrasive pads for heavy rust or industrial grime.

Questions about this item

How do I get the compressed 4.5 x 2.7 x .8 inch sponges ready for use?

Submerge each sponge in water; the wood-pulp cellulose side expands and softens within seconds, while the coconut-fibre scrubber stays firm for immediate scrubbing.

When should I replace a sponge from the 10-count pack?

Replace when the coconut-fibre layer frays or the cellulose side no longer springs back after rinsing — typically after several weeks of daily dish duty.

What fails first if I scrub baked-on grease every night?

The coconut-fibre abrasive surface wears smooth before the wood-pulp sponge loses absorbency, reducing scouring power on tough residue.
