Pro-Graad 4.5" Drill-Powered Cleaning Kit

This 3M Pro-Graad kit transforms a cordless drill into a high-speed scrubbing tool for home and commercial maintenance. It includes four round melamine sponge pads, a backing plate and a metal adapter shaft so the operator can tackle tough deposits without manual scrubbing. The drill itself is not supplied.

Four 1.25"-Thick Pads For Extended Use

Each 4.5" pad is 25% thicker than standard erasers, giving extra material for prolonged contact with grout, stove tops, oven interiors, walls, baseboards, shoes, car rims and patio furniture. The melamine foam wears down gradually; once a pad is consumed it is replaced from the set. Heavy or abrasive surfaces will exhaust the pads faster.

2,000 RPM Maximum Drill Speed

The system is rated for cordless drills running at up to 2,000 RPM; exceeding this limit can damage the pads or the adapter. Users must already own a compatible drill and should verify its top speed before purchase. Buyers without a suitable drill or who prefer hand-scrubbing will not be able to use the kit as intended.

Questions about this item

Will the 4.5" drill connector backing plate fit the cordless drill I already own?

The kit includes a metal drill adapter shaft and a 4" drill connector backing plate designed for standard cordless drill chucks; the drill itself is not included.

How can I confirm the Pro-Graad erasers are spinning at the intended speed after attaching them to my drill?

Run the cordless drill at its maximum setting up to 2,000 RPM; the erasers will spin visibly and remove stubborn scuffs with minimal pressure.

Does the 6-piece kit contain everything needed to start cleaning, or must I buy extra pads separately?

The kit supplies four 4.5" round x 1.25" thick Magic Sponge Eraser Pads, one drill connector backing plate and one metal drill adapter shaft; only a cordless drill and water are required.
