42 cm Microfibre Mop Set

The 3M Profi XL set includes a 42 cm microfibre mop head, a telescopic alloy-steel handle extending to 135 cm, and an 8-litre bucket with a foot-pedal wringer. It is built for cleaning large hard-floor areas in homes or commercial spaces.

Suited for expansive hard floors.

The wide head and 360° swivel joint suit open-plan tiles, laminate, vinyl, stone or sealed wood where figure-8 motion speeds up work. Buyers who mainly clean carpet, rugs or small bathrooms will find the 42 cm width cumbersome and the bucket capacity unnecessary.

Check handle reach and bucket footprint before

The telescopic handle reaches 135 cm and the bucket measures 51 × 29 × 39 cm, so confirm storage space and user height suit those dimensions. The mop head is washable; verify you have a suitable laundry setup for the microfibre pad.

Questions about this item

What floor space is needed to store the 51 × 29 × 39 cm bucket?

The bucket measures 51 cm long, 29 cm wide and 39 cm high, so allow at least that footprint plus a little clearance for the foot pedal.

Can the 135 cm telescopic handle be shortened for a shorter user?

Yes, the alloy-steel handle telescopes down from its full 135 cm length to suit different heights.

How do I know the 360° joint is moving freely after assembly?

The mop head should swivel smoothly through a full circle and trace a figure-8 pattern without binding.
