Heavy-duty packaging tape

This Scotch Tough Grip tape uses a hot-melt adhesive to secure moving boxes weighing up to 80 pounds. The clear, fiber-reinforced film unwinds smoothly and quietly for all-day packing. Each roll measures 1.88 inches wide by 43.70 yards long. The pack contains six rolls.

Best for high-weight sealing

Ideal for movers and shippers sealing heavy cartons that must survive rough handling. The adhesive bonds well to recycled-fiber boxes that resist ordinary tapes. Not suited for light-duty tasks where a thinner, general-purpose tape would suffice.

80-pound box rating

The tape is rated to keep boxes sealed with up to 80 lb. of contents inside. This single strength figure determines whether the product matches the load you need to ship.
