Adhesive-lined polyolefin tubing shrinks 2.5:1 to seal and insulate 22–16 AWG wires, supplied as 25 pieces of 4 ft length
This 3M heat shrink tubing comes in a 48-inch length with a 0.125-inch inside diameter before shrinking. The semi-rigid polyolefin material includes an adhesive lining and offers a 2.5:1 shrink ratio. It is designed for wire sizes ranging from 22 AWG to 16 AWG. The tubing withstands temperatures from -67 to 230 degrees Fahrenheit.
The adhesive-lined wall creates a moisture-resistant barrier after shrinking, making it suitable for automotive and marine wiring repairs. Acid and alkali resistance adds durability in harsh chemical environments. Buyers needing a higher shrink ratio or tubing without adhesive should consider alternative products. The 600-volt dielectric strength covers low-voltage signal and power circuits.
A heat gun or torch activates the adhesive and shrinks the tubing to a 0.02-inch inside diameter with a 0.02-inch wall thickness. The 25-piece pack provides multiple lengths for batch work or future maintenance. The thin-wall design adds minimal bulk to wire bundles inside conduit or loom. Ensure the wire gauge falls within the 22 to 16 AWG range for proper fit.

It covers 22 AWG to 16 AWG, so conductors in that range will fit before shrinking.
Yes, the adhesive-lined wall fuses to polyolefin and other common wire jackets when heated.
Measure the recovered inside diameter — it should be about .02 in, and the wall thickness should read .02 in.
