Compact thermal laminator for small offices

The 3M TL906 is a hot-and-cold thermal laminator designed for small or home offices that need professional-quality results without complication. It accepts pouches up to 9.50 inches wide and handles thicknesses from 3 mil to 5 mil, making it suitable for letter, legal, photo, ID badge and business-card sizes.

Jam-prevention technology and auto shutoff

Superior jam-prevention technology automatically stops misfed items before they cause a blockage, reducing waste and downtime. An indicator light signals when the 5-minute warm-up is complete, and the machine powers itself off after one hour of inactivity to conserve energy.

15-inch-per-minute throughput with 9.50-inch width

The laminator processes documents at 15 inches per minute, providing steady output for everyday office volumes. Capacity tops out at 9.50 inches wide and 5 mil thick, so wider formats or heavier pouches will exceed its range.

Questions about this item

How often will the rollers on the TL906 need cleaning or replacement?

The two rollers are built with jam-prevention technology that reduces misfeeds; regular cleaning with a lint-free cloth after heavy use keeps them running smoothly.

What limits continuous laminating on the TL906?

The auto shutoff activates after one hour of inactivity, so long runs are limited by that timer rather than by overheating.

How much heat and noise does the TL906 produce during all-day operation?

It warms up in five minutes and runs at 15 inches per minute with a quiet motor; the compact design stays warm but not hot during extended use.
