1U Venting Blank Panel

This 1U venting blank panel fills empty rack positions in 10 inch server cabinets. It is designed for use with DeskPi RackMate T0, T1 and T2 enclosures. The steel construction provides a clean, uniform appearance across the rack front.

Rack integration

The panel mounts directly to standard 10 inch rack rails using four screws for a secure fit. Perforated venting allows air to flow through the covered space, maintaining cooling pathways. It occupies a single rack unit without blocking airflow to active equipment.

Airflow management

The perforated steel surface supports continuous air circulation across unused rack slots. It handles typical ventilation needs for passive rack positions. Solid panels would restrict airflow, so this vented design prevents pressure build-up in dense configurations.

Questions about this item

How much airflow does the perforated panel allow through a 1U gap?

The perforated design maximises air circulation across the 1U opening while covering unused rack positions in 10 inch cabinets.

How much heat does the steel panel add when installed in a closed cabinet all day?

The passive steel panel generates no heat of its own and its vented surface helps exhaust warm air from the cabinet.

Which mounting hardware must I already have to fix the panel to a DeskPi RackMate T0, T1 or T2?

Four standard rack screws are required; the panel has pre-drilled holes that align with the cabinet's 1U mounting rails.
