This 1U rack-mount chassis holds up to five Raspberry Pi 5 units in a standard 19-inch cabinet. It integrates four PCIe-to-M.2 adapters that accept NVMe SSDs in 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 lengths. A 0.91-inch OLED module can occupy one slot to show system data via I2C. The steel frame is finished in black.

Verify how many Raspberry Pi 5 boards you plan to install; the tray supports a maximum of five. Confirm each NVMe drive matches one of the four supported form factors: 2230, 2242, 2260 or 2280. Ensure your cabinet provides a standard 19-inch 1U opening and that you have a PCIe-capable HAT or carrier board for each Pi. The rear I2C breakout uses PogoPin contacts for Grove-format peripherals.

Passive steel chassis runs silent with no fan noise

The all-steel construction relies on natural convection, so operation is completely silent. Power draw comes only from the Raspberry Pi boards, the attached NVMe SSDs and the optional OLED display. A programmable red LED on the expansion board is driven by GPIO4 for device identification. No active cooling or additional power circuitry is included in the rack itself.
