Abbott Label Thermal Transfer Labels

These Abbott Label thermal transfer labels measure 1-1/2" by 1" and are perforated between each label. Each roll contains 5500 labels and a full carton holds 8 rolls for a total of 44000 labels. They use a 40# basis weight paper with a permanent emulsion acrylic adhesive.

Suited for high-volume barcode and shipping tasks

The perforated format and strong cold-temperature adhesion suit warehouses, logistics desks and food-compliant labelling where FDA CFR 175.105 indirect contact approval is required. Operations needing colour printing, synthetic face stocks or non-perforated continuous rolls should look elsewhere.

44000 labels per carton with wide temperature range

The adhesive applies down to 30°F and remains serviceable from -65°F to 200°F (-54°C to 93°C), giving reliable performance in freezers and warm environments. Very long print runs exceeding a full carton or applications demanding extreme chemical resistance will exceed the capacity and material limits of this general-purpose paper label.

Questions about this item

What printer core size do I need for the 3" core on these rolls?

Your thermal transfer printer must accept a 3-inch core; the rolls have an 8-inch outer diameter and 5500 labels each.

Will the emulsion acrylic adhesive stay bonded on freezer stock kept at -65°F?

Yes, the adhesive is rated for a service range of -65°F to 200°F and meets FDA CFR 175.105 for indirect food contact.

How can I confirm the labels feed and perforate correctly after loading a roll?

Print a test batch; each label should separate cleanly at the horizontal perf every 1-1/8 inches without jamming or misalignment.
