Product Identity

These white direct-thermal labels measure 4" x 2" and come on rolls of 3000 labels each. A full carton contains 4 rolls for a total of 12000 labels. They are designed for high-volume printing environments such as warehouses, shipping departments and industrial logistics operations.

Critical Specification

The facestock is Fasson Direct-Therm 300LD, a non-topcoated bright white paper with high-sensitivity thermal coating. This material is intended for dry applications only; exposure to water, oil, alcohol or other liquids can damage the thermal layer and render labels unreadable.

Accessory Impact

The general-purpose permanent emulsion acrylic adhesive provides excellent adhesion to corrugated cardboard and superior adhesion to plastics. It meets FDA CFR 175.105 requirements for indirect food contact, enabling use on packaging that may come near food products. No ribbon or ink supplies are required for direct-thermal printing.

Questions about this item

What does the 3000 labels per roll mean for daily printing volume?

Each roll supplies 3000 labels, so a single roll can support several days of high-volume shipping or barcode printing before needing replacement.

How does the direct thermal printing method limit label durability?

The thermal coating darkens with heat but fades if exposed to water, oil, alcohol or other liquids, making these labels suitable only for dry indoor applications.

What printer width and core size are required to use these 4-inch-wide rolls?

The labels are 4 inches wide and perforated, so they need a direct thermal printer that accepts 4-inch media on a standard 3-inch core.
