Direct thermal label stock

These white direct-thermal labels measure 4" x 3" and ship 1900 per roll with four rolls per carton for a total of 7600 labels. They are built on Fasson Direct-Therm 300LD facestock, a smooth non-topcoated paper with a high-sensitivity coating for inkless printing. The material is intended for dry indoor use and works with a wide range of industrial direct-thermal printers. Buyers who need moisture-resistant or topcoated media should choose a different product.

Adhesive and environmental limits

A general-purpose permanent emulsion acrylic adhesive provides strong bonding to corrugated cardboard and superior adhesion to plastic surfaces. The adhesive complies with FDA CFR 175.105 for indirect food contact. Exposure to water, oil, alcohol or other liquids can degrade the thermal layer, so the labels are unsuitable for wet, cold-storage or outdoor environments. Applications requiring chemical resistance or freezer-grade performance are not supported.

Perforated roll format

Each roll is perforated between labels for clean separation during high-volume dispensing. The four-roll carton simplifies bulk storage and reload workflows in shipping, warehousing and logistics operations. No printer drivers, software utilities or ribbon supplies are included or required for direct-thermal operation. Users needing RFID inlays, pre-printed branding or linerless formats must source alternative products.

Questions about this item

How do I load the 1900-label roll so the perforated edge feeds correctly?

Place the roll with labels facing up and pull the leading edge forward so the perforation sits just past the tear bar; the printer will then advance each 4" x 3" label cleanly.

What will degrade first if the labels are stored near moisture or cleaning fluids?

The non-topcoated thermal coating on the Fasson Direct-Therm 300LD facestock reacts to water, oil or alcohol, so image quality fades before the permanent acrylic adhesive loses grip.

At what print volume does the roll need changing during a continuous industrial run?

Each roll holds 1900 labels, so the printer pauses for a roll swap after that many 4" x 3" prints; a full carton supplies 7600 labels across four rolls.
