General-purpose thermal transfer labels

These labels measure four inches by three inches and are supplied on rolls of eight hundred fifty. A carton contains four rolls, giving a total of three thousand four hundred labels. They are designed for standard thermal transfer printers and use a permanent emulsion acrylic adhesive.

Replaces hand-written or sheet-fed labels

The roll format with horizontal perforations every three and one-eighth inches allows fast, continuous printing and easy tear-off. The jump is worth it when you need high-volume labelling with consistent adhesion at low temperatures. The adhesive meets FDA CFR 175.105 requirements for indirect food contact.

Sustained performance across temperature range

The adhesive maintains tack from a minimum application temperature of thirty degrees Fahrenheit through a service range of minus sixty-five to two hundred degrees Fahrenheit. The forty-pound basis weight stock feeds reliably during long print runs without curling. Labels remain legible and secure throughout extended storage or shipping cycles.

Questions about this item

What core size and outer diameter do these 4-inch by 3-inch thermal transfer label rolls have?

Each roll uses a 1-inch core and has a 5-inch outer diameter, fitting standard desktop and industrial thermal transfer printers that accept those dimensions.

Which step do installers most often miss when loading these perforated rolls?

They forget to align the horizontal perforation — spaced every 3-1/8 inches — with the printer’s gap sensor, causing misfeeds and cut errors.

How long will the permanent emulsion acrylic adhesive stay effective in cold storage?

The adhesive is rated for service down to -65 °F (-54 °C) and meets FDA CFR 175.105 for indirect food contact, so it remains reliable in freezer environments.
