Product Identity

Abbott Label 4" x 6-1/2" Perforated Blue Thermal Transfer Labels arrive as 900 labels per roll with four rolls per carton for a total of 3600 labels. The permanent emulsion acrylic adhesive meets FDA CFR 175.105 for indirect food contact and performs from -65°F to 200°F (-54°C to 93°C) with a minimum application temperature of 30°F.

Ideal Use Cases

These labels suit operations that need perforated thermal transfer media for high-volume barcode, shipping or inventory tasks and can accommodate an 8" outer diameter on a 3" core. Buyers who require a different label size, a non-perforated format, a colour other than blue or a direct thermal coating should look at alternative products.

Installation Notes

Loading is straightforward on any thermal transfer printer that accepts 8" outer diameter rolls with a 3" core; the horizontal perforation every 6-5/8" allows clean separation without tools. The most common issue is mismatched core size or roll diameter, so verify printer specifications before ordering.

Questions about this item

Does my thermal transfer printer need a 3-inch core spindle to use these rolls?

Yes, each roll has a 3-inch core so your printer must accept that core size.

Can I feed these 6-5/8-inch perforated labels through a printer that only handles 6-inch gaps?

The perf spacing is 6-5/8 inches, so the printer must support that exact label pitch to advance correctly.

How can I confirm the adhesive is performing within its rated range after I apply the first labels?

Apply labels at or above 30°F and verify they remain secure when stored between -65°F and 200°F.
