What the product is

Abbott Label 4" x 6" Fan Fold Labels are blue thermal transfer labels supplied as two stacks of 2000 labels each, totalling 4000 labels per carton. They use a 40# basis weight paper with a permanent emulsion acrylic adhesive suitable for general-purpose applications.

The specification that decides fit

The labels are perforated with a horizontal perf every 4-1/8" and carry an adhesive that meets FDA CFR 175.105 for indirect food contact. The minimum application temperature is 30degF and the recommended service range is -65degF to 200degF (-54degC to 93degC).

Installation and common issues

Fan-fold stacks feed continuously through compatible thermal transfer printers without a roll holder. Ensure the printer accepts fan-fold media and that the 4-1/8" perf spacing matches the label length setting. The adhesive performs best when applied above 30degF.
