Direct Thermal Labels for Industrial Printers

These white direct thermal labels measure 1-1/2" x 1" and come 2300 per roll with four rolls per carton. They use Fasson Direct-Therm 300LD facestock, a smooth non-topcoated bright white paper with a high sensitivity thermal coating. The labels are perforated and intended for dry applications in industrial direct thermal printers.

Replaces Handwritten or Inkjet Labels in Dry

Switching to these rolls is worth it when you need high-volume, on-demand printing without ribbons or ink cartridges. The general purpose permanent emulsion acrylic adhesive provides excellent adhesion to corrugated cardboard and superior adhesion to plastics. It meets FDA CFR 175.105 for indirect food contact.

Limited to Dry Conditions Without Protective Topcoat

The non-topcoated thermal layer is sensitive to water, oil, alcohol and other liquids, which can degrade print quality. Exposure to heat or friction may also cause unintended darkening. This product is not suitable for outdoor use, cold storage, or any application where labels contact moisture or solvents.

Questions about this item

What core diameter do these rolls need on a direct thermal printer?

The rolls use standard 3-inch cores compatible with most industrial direct thermal printers.

How should the labels be loaded so the perforations tear cleanly?

Feed the roll with the thermal coating facing the print head; the perforations run between each 1-1/2" x 1" label for easy separation.

When will the adhesive lose its grip on corrugated boxes?

The permanent emulsion acrylic adhesive meets FDA CFR 175.105 for indirect food contact and is designed for long-term adhesion to corrugated cardboard in dry conditions.
