Product Identity

These Abbott Label direct thermal labels measure three by two inches and arrive as four rolls of 1240 labels each, totalling 4960 labels per carton. They are built for operations that print high volumes of shipping, inventory or barcode tags on industrial direct thermal printers.

Capacity and Limits

Each roll delivers 1240 labels, giving a single carton enough stock for extended print runs without frequent changeovers. The Fasson Direct-Therm 300LD facestock is a non-topcoated paper, so the thermal layer darkens when exposed to heat, moisture, oil, alcohol or other liquids, making the labels unsuitable for wet or contaminated environments.

Adhesive and Compliance

A general purpose permanent emulsion acrylic adhesive provides strong bonding to corrugated cardboard and superior adhesion to plastic surfaces. The adhesive formulation meets FDA CFR 175.105 requirements for indirect food contact, allowing use on packaging that may touch food products.

Questions about this item

Will these 3" x 2" direct thermal labels feed correctly in my older industrial printer that takes 3-inch cores?

The rolls are perforated and sized at 3" x 2" with 1240 labels each, a common format for industrial direct thermal printers that accept standard core sizes.

How can I verify the thermal coating is printing cleanly after I load the first roll?

Print a test pattern; the Fasson Direct-Therm 300LD facestock has a high-sensitivity coating that should produce sharp, dark images without ribbon on compatible direct thermal printers.

Does the carton include the 4 rolls of 1240 labels each, or do I need to buy rolls separately?

The carton contains 4 rolls, totalling 4960 labels; no additional rolls are required to start printing.
