General Use Thermal Transfer Labels

Temperature Limits and Adhesive Performance

The permanent emulsion acrylic adhesive meets FDA CFR 175.105 for indirect food contact. Minimum application temperature is 30degF and the recommended service range spans -65degF to 200degF (-54degC to 93degC). This makes the labels reliable in cold storage and warm processing environments.

40# Basis Weight Paper Stock

The labels use a 40# basis weight paper designed for thermal transfer printing. Buyers who require direct thermal media, synthetic film substrates or a different basis weight for specialised durability should select an alternative product.

Questions about this item

Should I buy the single roll or the full carton?

Each roll contains 1500 perforated labels. The carton holds 4 rolls, giving 6000 labels in total, so choose based on the volume you expect to print.

What does the 40# basis weight mean when the labels are running through my printer?

The 40# basis weight indicates a standard paper thickness that feeds reliably in most desktop and industrial thermal transfer printers without jamming or curling.

How does the 3" core and 8" outer diameter limit which printers I can use?

The 3" core fits the mandrels on most mid-size and industrial thermal transfer printers, while the 8" outer diameter stays within the maximum roll capacity of those same machines.
