SKU CH-M3EQ-0K87A

A 3U rack-mount intake panel delivers 60-300 CFM at 12-38 dBA with dual-ball-bearing fans and a programmable thermostat controller

  • Product typeRack Air Distribution
  • Intelligent thermostat automates fan speed and alarms
  • Dual ball-bearing fans deliver 60 to 300 CFM airflow
  • Operates quietly at 12 to 38 dBA noise levels
  • Premium anodized aluminium build fits 19-inch 3U racks
  • Protects gear by keeping temperatures below 93° F

3U Rack Intake Panel

The AC Infinity CLOUDPLATE T9-N occupies a 3U rack space and draws cool air into 19-inch cabinets. It serves AV, home-theatre, DJ, server, network and IT equipment that must stay below 93 °F to avoid overheating and premature wear.

Replaces Passive Vents

The panel replaces blank plates or simple louvered vents when active airflow is required. The jump is worth it when gear runs hot enough to throttle or fail, and when automated temperature control with alarm warnings and backup memory removes the need for constant manual adjustment.

Limits of Fixed-Speed PWM Control

The unit delivers 60 to 300 CFM at 12 to 38 dBA using dual-ball-bearing fans driven by a PWM motor. Airflow and noise are bound to that range; the system cannot exceed 300 CFM or drop below 12 dBA, and it lacks variable-speed profiles beyond the programmed thermostat curves.

Questions about this item

What rack width and height does the CLOUDPLATE T9-N need to fit?

It mounts in a standard 19-inch rack and occupies 3U of vertical space.

How is the fan panel installed, and which step is often missed?

The kit includes all mounting hardware and a corded thermal probe; the probe must be placed in the airflow path for the thermostat to regulate speed correctly.

What maintenance will the dual-ball bearing fans need later?

Dual-ball bearings are rated for long life with no lubrication required; if a fan fails the controller triggers an alarm so you can replace only the affected module.
