What this splitter adds

A single USB-C or Thunderbolt 3/4 port becomes a five-port hub with one 4K@60Hz video output, three USB-C 3.1 ports, one USB-A 3.1 port and 100W power delivery. It is built for users who need video, data and charging from one connection. The aluminium housing measures 4.88 by 1.118 by 0.41 inches and weighs 0.068 kilograms.

Check your host port first

The host USB-C port must support DisplayPort alt mode, data transfer and power delivery together; a charge-only or data-only port will not drive the video output or the 10Gbps links. You also need a separate USB-C power adapter to enable the 85W pass-through charging while the hub is in use.

Suits mobile workstations, not desktop docks

This adapter suits professionals who move between desks and need a compact 10Gbps hub with 4K@60 video for a portable monitor or AR glasses. It is not for users who require multiple video outputs, legacy ports such as HDMI or VGA, or a stationary dock with its own power supply.

Questions about this item

Does the hub come with a power adapter for the 100W pass-through charging?

The package includes the splitter only; a separate USB-C charger is required to deliver up to 85W pass-through power to the host laptop.

Should I pick the USB-C video port or the USB-A port for a portable monitor?

Use the dedicated full-featured USB-C video output; it carries DisplayPort alt mode at 4K 60Hz, while the USB-A port is data-only.

Will the 10Gbps rating hold when I connect an SSD, a phone and a portable monitor at the same time?

The hub shares a single 10Gbps upstream link, so total bandwidth across the three USB-C 3.1 ports and one USB-A 3.1 port cannot exceed that figure.
